Three generations of the Keen family, farming this corner of the Surrey Hills with patience, care, and respect for the land that feeds us all.
The Keen family have farmed this land since the late 1950s. What started as J.A. Keen & Son is now shaped by sixty-odd years of quiet learning — working with the land, not against it.
We don't farm at scale. We farm with care. Every bird is free-range, every animal pasture-fed. Our orchard has been restored with traditional Surrey varieties, and our hedgerows have spent two decades quietly rewilding.
Our Story →“Just spent four wonderful nights at Etherley — all the staff at the shop are so friendly and the meat they sell is fantastic, as are the eggs! Beautifully clean toilets and showers and a great washing-up area.”— Camper review
